NFFR's annual Revolution Awards offer recognition to the best in Chronicles of Narnia fan fiction for each year. The awards encourage stand-out authors while providing readers with strong recommendations of good writing to check out.
The process begins every fall with nominations that take place at NFFR's forums. All are welcome to nominate any story for any category, provided that story has been updated a specified minimum amount that year.
After stories have been nominated, the nominations are turned over to NFFR's Screening Team for approval to make sure the nominated stories adhere to NFFR's basic grammar guidelines. The Screening Team fairly evaluates the stories to ensure that blatantly poorly-written stories are not admitted.
Once the Screening Team approves the stories, they are put on a ballot, and voting is open to all for about one month. Each voter can fill out the ballot only once.
At the end of the voting in December, the results are published online and on AsCast.
